Tour the town of Chateauneuf-du-Pape and indulge in a little winetasting.

Travel to Vaison-la-Romaine with its Roman excavations and Orange with its Triumphal Arch and Roman Theater.

Take a short drive to marvel at the Pont du Gard, the mighty Roman aqueduct built in 19BC.

Onward to Nîmes, the most ancient Roman city in all of France, with its elegant Maison Carrée and Roman Theater.

Then to Arles, once the second capital of the Roman Empire under Constantine, a treasure trove of antiquity. Van Gogh loved the unique Mediterranean light of Arles, where he painted 300 of his most famous canvases.

Visit the beautiful town of St-Rémy, the birthplace of the famous astrologer Nostradamus. Continue to the Greco-Roman site of Glanum and the extraordinary village of Les-Baux-de-Provence to see the castle ruins once famed for its troubadours.

See the village of Gordes and cruise through the natural splendor of the Lubéron Valley. Then discover Aix-en-Provence, the ancient capital of Provence with its myriad of fountains and lively sidewalk cafés.

Finally, experience Camargue, a land of space and freedom, wild and beautiful, one of Europe’s largest wildlife sanctuaries. Discover Stes-Maries-de-la-Mer, capital of Camargue and famous for its Gypsy pilgrimages and the medieval walled city of Aigues-Mortes.
